PT Sumber Utama Sumakarsa was founded in 1980 in Padang as a trucking services company. It's growing business has expanded the company into freight forwarding services, and to fulfill the increasing demand, in 2003 PT Sumber Utama Mandiri Abadi (SUMA) was established.
The 42 years of dedicated journey has put SUMA toward solid management in cargo delivery services.
We have become a contender player. Therefore, we manage to get 100-200 containers per day or up to 5000 containers per month. This is all possible due to our efficiency and reliability in maintaining transaction and communication with the various customers.

COVERING ALSO THE SMALL PORTS
Our destination services reach every main port in Indonesia and the small ports as well. Locally, we have become the most powerful and focused door-to-door FCL company for Sumatra area.
We have successfully opened many new shipping routes in Sumatra that have never been thought of by anyone before. For example, we are able to serve shipments from Padang to various small ports in almost all of Sumatra which makes shipping goods more efficient than if by road.
SEA TOLL
We also have strong cooperation in the shipping network of goods via the Sea Toll which is managed by the government. For example, Jakarta - Aceh, Jakarta - Lhokseumawe, Jakarta - Nias, and Surabaya - Dobo. This sea toll facility provides an alternative shipping route with a more efficient cost for clients.

SPACE FOR SHIPPING
In certain occasions, the availability of cargo space on shipboard is uncertain. However, it will never happen in our company as we have a large-scale contract charge in every main port in Indonesia. For many many years, we have always met all the space available for our shipping goods. Our performance has proved to be undoubtedly consistent. As a result, we get priority in cargo space and eventually assurance of timely delivery.
